Dr. Gary Aaron is not just the CEO of
Australian Menopause Centre and a specialist, but has additionally been a
sportsperson, explorer, social worker, fisherman, fruit picker, cotton picker,
potato picker and a non-fiction writer.
In 1999, Dr. Aaron wrote a book on erectile
dysfunction, 'Sex for life' when he was approached by New Holland Publishers.
Dr. Aaron began general practice in 1993 in Melbourne, Victoria. A year later
he began his own practice, giving unique focus to men's health. His practice
developed to six facilities in association with Dr. Daniel Ha and Dr. Ramsay
Salles. Today the clinics come under Jack Vaisman's ownership and they are
named Advanced Medical Institute (AMI).
In the second half of 1992 Dr. Gary Aaron began
general practice in Ulverstone. His first medical work was in 1992 too, when he
worked at the Burnie Base Hospital in Tasmania. After that Dr. Aaron did a
mixture of things. His time at University was a superb one. He was excellent in
his first year at the University of Witwatersrand and was welcomed into the
medicinal staff. He went to South East
Asia and Australia and aided Mother Teresa in a Leper Colony and Hospice. He
set out to Nepal, and before his first medical job picked up knowledge of many
others, as he worked in various vocations like fruit and vegetable picking,
fishing etc.
Today he is a board-certified fellow of the
American Academy of Anti-ageing medicine and CEO and Medical Director of AMC,
heading a staff of over forty.
